DÉJÀ SPRING EQUINOX NATURE RETREAT + FIRE CEREMONY - FRENCH BEACH, VANCOUVER ISLAND, BC

  • Exact location to be shared upon registering French Beach BC British Columbia (map)

Join us for a women’s nature retreat and fire ceremony to celebrate the spring equinox near French Beach, BC on Saturday, March 21st 9am - 1pm. This morning retreat will be held outdoors, in a secluded nature setting (exact location to be announced closer to the date).

After many urban retreats, we are excited to bring this seasonal reset into nature and are very fortunate to be led by medicine woman and fire keeper Becky de Graaf in a community fire ceremony. A fire ceremony is a potent shamanic practice that helps to shift energies and let go of stagnant attachments allowing in new intentions to be made manifest. This practice can be used to release and move emotions, thoughts, and patterns that no longer serve your higher self. By offering these unwanted energies and old patterns to the fire, you are engaging in a deep process of soul-level healing and inner renewal.

Your morning includes:

  • meditation, ritual + breathwork with Emily, founder of Déjà Well

  • fire ceremony by Becky of Ethos & Edit

  • personalized ear seed therapy by a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner

  • French inspired picnic lunch after the ceremony

All details will be sent to your email after registration and in the days leading up to the retreat.

There are limited spaces available. Email support@dejawell.com if you have any questions.

INVESTMENT $65.00/ PERSON

Fire Ceremony is one of the oldest sacred practices shared across cultures and lineages. Long before modern language or religion, humans gathered around the medicine of fire to honour change, acknowledge endings, and invite new life. Grandfather Fire has always been a bridge between worlds, the visible and the unseen, the physical and the energetic, the self we are shedding and the self we are becoming.

In its essence, a Sacred Fire Ceremony is a ritual of acknowledgment.

The acknowledgment and place to slow down. You meet what you’ve been carrying. You name it, not to justify or relive it, but rather to recognize its impact. And then, with support - through intention and offering, you release it to the fire, allowing it to be transformed in a way the mind alone cannot do.

This Fire is sacred because it is done with teachings and medicine that have been passed through the lineage and held in respect: For the land we gather on, for the elements that hold us, for the ones we walk with and the ancestors, and for the Elders and wisdom-keepers who have tended these teachings long before us.

You don’t need to “be spiritual.”
You don’t need to know what you’re releasing.
You only need the willingness to pause and listen.

and be cared for.
